SUMMARY OF RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
My research interests concern the neurophysiology of the human visual system in individuals with developmental disorders. I am also particularly interested in the mechanisms by which vision can influence and interact with the other sensory systems (multisensory integration). The privileged approach to address these issues in humans is functional imaging including high-density electroencephalography, magnetoencephalography, optical imaging, transcranial magnetic stimulation and intracranial recordings in epilepsy patients.
STUDIED DISEASES
Amblyopia, blindness, autism, developmental neurotoxicity
