Pierre Boyle obtained a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa and a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from McGill University where he was particularly interested in the evaluation of medical practices and technologies. From 1996 to 2000 he was general director of the Fonds de Recherche en Santé du Québec after which he became executive director of CANVAC. Pierre Boyle is currently Vice-Dean of Research and Graduate Studies of the Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal.
